University Programs

Price Institute stimulates business schools to discover and cultivate entrepreneurial talent. For example, grants from Price Institute, the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), New York University (NYU), and the University of California at Berkeley (Berkeley) have enlarged the entrepreneurial curricula and student activities in their graduate business schools. Notable features of these progressive and multi-faceted programs include:

Identifying students with entrepreneurial talent and providing them with opportunities to develop and channel their risk-taking instincts.

Designing curricula that not only encourage creativity but teach business practices that enhance the success of innovative ideas, such as: identifying opportunities; determining capital needs; taking a business from inception to success; and knowing when to sell it.

Recruiting distinguished entrepreneurs to lecture, interact with students and give hands-on experience through internships and management programs

Providing marketing, management and accounting services by MBA students to area businesses

Establishing active student entrepreneurial organizations to:

      • Sponsor workshops for university and business community
      • Conduct speaker's series
      • Network with other student organizations to exchange ideas

Awarding Price Institute Fellowships to one or two outstanding students at a variety of schools including Babson College, the University of Southern California (USC), as well as Berkeley, NYU and UCLA.
